Rajasthan Cultural Tour
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at International Airport you are met and transferred to your prebooked Hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel you are received with a traditional welcome. Later proceed to sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in Asia), Red Fort (built between 1639-48 by the Shah Jahan, the creator of the Taj Mahal), the Rajghat (the cremation site of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi) and Qutab Minar (72m high), the most perfect of towers of the Persian world. The drive through New Delhi includes the Embassy area (Diplomatic Enclave), government buildings, India Gate, Birla Temple, Connaught Place and past Safdarjang's Tomb (1753 AD). Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Mandawa
After breakfast drive to Mandawa Arrive Mandawa was founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and is still the home of his descendants check in at Hotel. Later visit world famous Fresco paintings in wall. & Havelis Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Bikaner
After breakfast drive to Bikaner is famous for forts & palaces Afternoon tour of this desert city. Bikaner is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Arrive Bikaner check in at Hotel. Visit Lalgarh Palace built by Maharaja Ganga Singh, is an architectural wonder in the city of Bikaner. The palace features a medley of Rajputana, Mughal and European architecture and style of building. Visit Junagarh Fort this fort is treasured with 37 palaces, temples and quite many pavilions. Visit Devi Kund is the site of the cenotaphs built in the memory of Bika Royal Family. The cenotaphs are built in a typical Rajput architecture, featuring open canopies and a number of tombs, each built for the member of the family. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04: Jaisalmer
After breakfast drive to Jaiselmer city is one of India's most beautiful, colorful & fascinating place. Enroute visit desert village. Arrive Jaiselmer check in at Hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed to visit the Rich and beautiful palaces and "Havelis " of Jaisalmer Sonar Kila, Patwon ki haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli and Nathmalji Ki Haveli and afternoon excursion to Sam for short camel ride in the sand dunes of thar desert .Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 06: Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur. Afternoon visit the Meharangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone Hill, including Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memorium built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight Jodhpur.
Day 07: Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur visiting Ranakpur Temples enroute. Ranakpur - 98 kms from Udaipur, the Jain Temples built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Overnight Udaipur.
Day 08: Udaipur
After breakfast proceed to visit The tour will cover lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens this small garden made for the queens and the maids, has many fountains and other important figures. The Jagdish Temple this Indo-Aryan Temple made by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651 AD, is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur, with many intricately sculpted idols displaying the fine Indo-Aryan architecture.Finally visit the Pratap Museum The museum houses the old sculptures and inscriptions. One can see the antique paintings of Dewar and the turban worn by prince Khurram (Emperor Shahajahan) on display, which was gifted to Maharana Khazan Singh by Shahjahan. Evening enjoy boat ride in Lake Pichola in Udaipur. Overnight stay at hotel in Udaipur.
Day 09: Ajmer - Pushkar
After breakfast check out from hotel & drive to Ajmer visit Arrive Ajmer & proceed to visit famous Dargah of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti the Dargah Sharif. Later drive to Pushkar edge of the desert lies the tiny tranquil town of Pushkar along the bank of the picturesque Pushkar Lake. This is an important pilgrimage spot for the Hindus, which has the only temple of Lord Brahma in the country and one of the few in the world. Arrive Pushkar check in at hotel. Later visit Brahma Temple. Rest of day free at leisure. Over night stay at Hotel.
Day 10: Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur "Pink City" of India. Upon arrival in Jaipur check in at your prebooked hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit City Palace, Royal Palace of Winds & Jaipur.Observatory. Overnight stay in Jaipur Hotel.
Day 11: Agra
After breakfast proceed to visit Amber fort where you will have the sheer pleasure to enjoy the Elephant Ride. Later drive to Agra "Taj City" of India enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 to commemorate the birth of his son and later abandoned due to scarcity of water. Upon arrival in Agra check-in at your prebooked hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
Day 12: Delhi
After breakfast proceed to city sight seeing tour visit world famous Taj Mahal, built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 in memory of his loving queen Mumtaz Mahal. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque and the Hall of Public and Private Audience.Visit Itmad-up-Dau's tomb, built by Noorjehan in memory of her father. Arrive Delhi transfer to the airport to board flight back home or onward destination.
